1. Information stored in the app
DUMPCMD lets you enter truck and trailer information, fuel and insurance costs, maintenance allowances, materials, dump site fees, job details, job and site addresses, company branding, internal notes, and customer names. The current app saves settings and estimate history in local device storage so you can use them later.
In the current version, these values are not automatically transmitted to DUMPCMD's operator or an app-owned server.
2. Data collection, accounts and tracking
The current DUMPCMD app does not require an account and does not contain app-owned analytics, advertising trackers, or a cloud synchronization service. Optional address search and mileage calculation use Apple Maps. We do not automatically collect your saved estimates or customer information through the app.
Apple may process information about downloading or purchasing the app through the App Store under Apple's own policies. We do not receive your payment card information from the app.
Address search and road mileage
When you choose Find addresses or Calculate mileage, DUMPCMD sends the addresses you enter and selected route endpoints to Apple Maps to obtain location matches and driving routes. Apple processes these requests under its own privacy practices. These optional features require an internet connection. DUMPCMD does not request your current device location for this feature. Address entries and applied mileage are stored locally with your job; internal notes are not included in address requests or shared PDFs.
3. Files you choose to export or share
If you export an estimate, DUMPCMD creates a file locally (PDF). If you choose an action in Apple's Share Sheet, the file is provided to the service or person you select. That destination's privacy practices then apply. Exported files can include job names, customer names, costs, and other details you entered.
4. Contacting support
If you contact us by email, we receive the address you use and any content you voluntarily send, such as screenshots or diagnostic details. We use that information to respond to your request and maintain support correspondence. Your email provider also processes these messages under its own policies.
To ask about a support message or request deletion of correspondence, use the contact method on our Support page.
5. This website
The DUMPCMD support and privacy pages are static and do not include advertising, analytics scripts, or embedded trackers. The service used to host these pages may process standard technical information, such as IP address and access logs, under its own terms. We will update this policy if website functionality or hosting-related practices materially change.
6. Retention, backups, and deletion
Your in-app settings and saved estimates remain on your device until removed through the app or operating system. Removing the app ordinarily removes its local data. Copies in your Apple device backups or in files you previously exported may remain until removed separately under your chosen backup or file-storage settings.
For support emails, request deletion using the contact method on the Support page. We may retain correspondence when necessary to meet legitimate legal or security obligations.
7. Security
The app relies on iOS and iPadOS security controls for local storage. No transmission method or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Use care when sharing estimates containing customer or business information.
8. Children's privacy
DUMPCMD is designed for contractors and equipment owners, not directed to children, and we do not intentionally collect personal information from children through the app.
9. Changes to this policy
If DUMPCMD's features or data practices change, we may update this notice and its effective date. We will publish the current version at this page.
10. Questions
