Controls & calibration

Do I need to calibrate four directions?

No. Hold your iPhone at one comfortable neutral angle then tap Start Game to open calibration. Choose Set neutral, then Lock & play. Tilt left, right, forward or backward from that angle to roll the ball. Return to neutral to remove the tilt force; momentum slows with friction. Neutral stays fixed until you recalibrate. Screen orientation stays locked to portrait.

The ball drifts or feels too sensitive

Pause, choose Recalibrate and capture your comfortable angle again. Adjust tilt sensitivity in Settings. Place the phone still while setting neutral. Use Settings → Calibrate tilt controls to choose another neutral angle.

The five challenges

Classic Maze: learn the tilt controls through increasingly complex paths. Mazes 81–90 offer two valid exits.

The Fog: drifting cover obscures distant routes while the ball and nearby paths remain visible.

Shifting Walls: warned wall changes create shortcuts and detours. Level layouts and event schedules repeat for every player; closing walls wait until the ball is clear.

The Surgeon: new wall impacts damage armor. Remaining against one wall does not drain armor every frame.

The Beginning of the End: complete mazes 401–500 in one uninterrupted attempt. Fog, wall shifts and armor enter progressively.

Times, progress & ads

How are leaderboard times calculated?

For the first four sets, finish all 100 mazes to submit the sum of your personal best times. The final set uses one uninterrupted run, never a sum of saved bests. Game Center sign-in and an available configured leaderboard are required. Failed score submissions remain on the device for retry.

What interrupts the marathon?

Pausing, leaving the app, locking the phone or losing all armor invalidates the run. Start again at maze 401. Ads and automatic board transitions are excluded from gameplay time. Individual maze records do not replace times within a marathon.

When do ads appear?

Interstitial ads may appear between completed mazes. They do not appear during active maze play and do not count toward your gameplay time. Development builds use test ads. Privacy options are in Settings when provided by the consent service.

Where are my saved times?

Open Settings → Local times. Times, unlocked mazes and preferences are stored on this device. There is currently no in-game iCloud sync or save export. Removing the app can remove its local records; device backups are controlled by Apple settings. Development rules-version changes may start fresh records.
